KARATE JUTSU:

  • Kihon: postures, footwork, blocking, striking, kicking and combinations thereof
  • Rolling, falling, rising from prone position
  • Basic grappling
  • Nyumon level Jujutsu, Aiki Jutsu, Muay Thai, Tanto jutsu
  • Kumite (sparring): both free and pre-arranged
  • Violent scenario rehearsal
  • Specialized women’s self-defence
  • Ibuki (respiration)
  • Kobujutsu: jo/bokken/bo/tanto
  • Support exercises:
    • isometrics/light weights
    • core work
    • aerobic/anaerobic
    • limbering/stretching
    • body tempering (iron shirt drills/Sanchin kata)
    • hand and foot tempering: fist push-ups/makiwara/heavy bag etc.
